Insightful stuff, Eric! Sadly, many agencies of the Church are driven by ideology, despite there being life-givers within them. The removal of Susan Pascoe from the Catholic Education Office of Victoria was one such person and exemplar. I recall writing to you about it at the time but it didn't register. Another life-giver was/is Sr Brigid Arthur, who from within the Church instinctively opposed the DLP/NCC cabal that still imposes its ideological stranglehold on several aspects of Church life in Victoria. Anyway, Happy Posting. Its life-giving.
